"The parking facilities and first impressions of the hotel were good. Staff were pleasant and efficient. The room was warm, clean and spacious.The bathroom was clean and tidy. Traffic noise was quite high as the window of our ground floor room faced the road, although this did subside later in the evening so sleep was only disturbed by a bed that was on the soft side. An evening drink in the bar was quite expensive, £11 for 2 drinks with mixers, which just encouraged us to visit a local pub instead. Breakfast was pretty good, with a large variety to choose from and good service from the staff. Overall a nice stay but not perfect considering the prices."
